Chunlei Li (李春蕾) Personal Page
I am a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at VR Lab, Beihang University. I am about to complete my Ph.D. degree in 2026. My research interests include physics-based animation, computer graphics, simulation, and neural operator. I am supervised by Prof. Qinping Zhao (赵沁平), Prof. Yang Gao (高阳), and Prof. Shuai Li (李帅). I am currently a visiting student at University College London under the supervision of Prof. He Wang (王鹤).
I am currently on the job market, looking for postdoctoral positions starting in late 2026 or early 2027. Feel free to get in touch.
My long-term vision: bridging AI, physics, and numerics. 1) AI for physics (e.g. neural operators, physical foundation models): using learning to accelerate, generalize, and extend classical numerical methods. 2) physics for AI (e.g. learning dynamics, explanation of scaling laws, acceleration of training convergence): using PDE theory, fluid mechanics, and numerical analysis to study learning itself.
